Thrush Problem

Hey

Lets start at the beginning.

Last month, I developed thrush for the first time (down there). It was at the end of my period and I was on Penecillin at the time (famous for reactions to it). I know this was probably the cause of it, but this time round, end of period, I seem to be getting it again, and I am not on any medication except for the pill, which I have been on for about 5months.

Any suggestions as to what may be up before I see the docs? Thanks :)

    A recurrence of thrush?

Assuming you had it diagnosed last time by a doc/nurse then you could try using the oral capsule/pessary/caneston once again. It should clear it up but if it happens again next month go see a doctor.

your boyfriend or anyone you have had sex with (while you had thrush) and might have sex with again needs to be treated... if not you will just be re-infected whenever you sleep with them.
