Hey, my mate thinks that he is in love with this girl. He has been out with her before and now she has found someone else. He realy likes her and he keeps writing her poems and love texts. He wont tell her how he feels. What should he do? <IMG SRC="confused.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    very harsh balddog and yet very true. or he could grow a backbone if the balls are too much of a problem, or if the problem persists he could carry a small pillow around with him so that when he gets really upset he has something to cry into.

    Erm, is your mate the same age as you? I hate to be one of those annoying adulty people who tell you that you are too young to be in love ... but .... it would seem that he is infatuated with her, rather than in love. His options are either to come straight out with and tell the girl how he feels ... or .... move on. It will hurt for a while but he'll get over it.

    I know this guy and he really does like her. This is not just meer infactuation. He really does like her and has done for about 2 years now. He is not kidding either. You were all a bit harsh on him though. Come on guys you gotta know how it feels. right??

    first post so apologies if no-one likes it...!

    To be honest with you, if the guy has been out with her before then it's fairly likely that he has had his (current) chance and lost it. If he is also your age, then as was said higher up the likelihood is either a) he'll get over it or b) she'll lose interest in the current bloke and then will be free again. Actually sending a girl love texts/poems is VERY unloikely to help win her.....

    I would suggest he gives it a bit of time.....and then trys to hit her on the re-bound <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> (sorry)
