Rubbish web hosting...

For all of you out there who have websites… How much down-time do you have. My hosting company has been really bad recently, at least 2 instances of 12-hour down-time in the last month.

What would you say is reasonable, and how easy is it to change to a new hosting company? All this lot give me is a feeble “sorry”.

    I have hosting with www.gradwell.com

    Not the cheapest of the bunch by a long stretch, but I can't remember the last time there was an outage, and they are very good at dealing with support enquiries.

    If you pay monthly then just cut your losses, cancel the account and get your domain transfered to someone else.

    my customers have an excellent amount of uptime. hasnt gone down once this year.

    like our since discouned slogan that we found, said:
    "At IE-Hosting, we wont go down on you, unless you pay us extra ;)"
