You know when it's connected but runs real shitty and won't download anything, what's the problem? And is there anything you can do to resume normal service?

    Are you sharing anything... LimeWires connection is dpendent on the amount you share, unless you can find a copy of LimeWire Pro anywhere..

    Try to download LimeWire Pro from something like www.mininova.org

    You get much better connections and speeds genrally.

    It runs like lightening some days. Then won't work for shit others even though it says it's connected. Just wondering what the difference was?

    I don't know. How would I check?

    It runs fine sometimes and then doesn't at others, and I don't change any of my firewall settings.

    Well it is doubtful. But check the firewall allows it - probably under something like "program control".

    Mine sometimes sits and says it's connecting for ages but never does. I just close it and open it again.

    BTW mine keeps flashing on the screen all the time at the moment. Has anyone had this? The whole window just flashes like crazy...

    It's in processes in Task Manager but it's not opening so I can use it grrr.

    I reinstalled it and it's still not working and I've got the latest version of Java grrr.

    I updated mine last night to latest version and now it won't connect at all!

    Shit craic. Any suggestions. (I've already checked that the firewall allows it).
