  Its ok, the other day I was the highest bidder but it didn't meet reserve, and so I had a second chance bid on that anyway. Only difference really is it's £10 more (but the p&p is a bit less...). And its second hand, but that might be better than 'refurbished'.....

  its not really sniping if there was still 5 mins left.
  Only newbies bid on stuff before the last 10 minutes of an auction. Its to try and keep the price down.

  You can get software that monitors the auction and bids for you right up until the last second ...

  Well I'm a newbie then I bid on things as soon as I see them, most of the time.
