Cooking oil + my eye = ouch.

Ok, well, I was frying something in the pan a minute ago and the fat spat up and I got burnt.. In my eye..

It hurt. :p

I ran to the bathroom immediatley and like washed it out with cold water and soaked it for a while and I can see fine but it feels a bit sore and looks red.

Is there anything I could/should do to prevent further damage/pain..?

    Use goggles when cooking.

    i got my m8 in the eye with cooking oil once, he said it killed :P i feel for you ;p (must be worse when its hot!)

    Haha yes it hurt like a bitch.. I was red and i was afraid it was gonna start to swell up so i put some ice on it for a while which helped then the redness and soreness went ovenight and it looks/feels normal now. So don't panic anybody! i'm not going blind or anything! :p
