Sexual health clinics advise water especially for women as it is much better for maintaining the natural environment of the genitals than soaps, shower gels or even specially sold feminine washes. If you feel the need to use something then the only medically recommended product is aqueous cream which you can apparently wash with.
This is what I learnt at the sexual health clinic where they told me I wash my flange too much.
Im a bit fastidious about that area, although the rest of me i only shower every other day.
haha, sorry i call myself that for another reason. but it is a fitting name. It is fine washing just with water but with soap too sometimes, i am happy to announce i suffer from no nobcheese and only clean it once a day, and it still smells as fresh as a daisy. maybe im just lucky i dunno.

Circumcision is not more hygienic than not having it done at all.
You can actually make the smell by washing too often with soap, btw, as the skin will produce more oil to replace what was lost. The penis is just skin too, y'know.

I'd just like to add although its off topic: this is true of your face too. Over washing it is so damaging and can cause bad spots.
That's a bit drastic ... anyway, a circumcised cock can get almost as skanky if not washed regularly either - although most excretions are absorbed by your underwear.
