Just a question, if you take the morning after pill but youve had unprotected sex before that anyway and your already pregnant what would happen? would you still have a period or would it not jus do anything?

    It wouldn't have an effect on the pregnancy, otherwise it would be an abortifacient.

    ^ Yep, and you can always do a pregnancy test first if you think you might be pregnant.

    There could not be a period if you're already pregnant as the uterine lining will not break down...

    wouldn't the MAP be harmful to an unborn child 'cos of all the hormones and stuff in it? or is that a silly question? :p

    There has been no evidence to suggest so, as far as I know. A friend of mine has a healthy 2 year old as a result of emergency contraception failing.
