Eye bases

Bases for under eyeshadow. Is it worth investing in one? The cheapest I found on my little scout about was £6.50 (Boots No. 7), is it worth getting one? Or would just putting foundation on my eyelids work the same (which is what I've currently been doing)? If it is worth it, can anyone recommend one? I'm a bit confused, y'see, and am not sure.

Ta lovelies.
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

well it does the job, am not sure whether it keeps the eyeshadow on that much longer because i dont check it that much, but i have a lot of discolouration around my eyes anyway and it evens that out so i look slightly less like a tramp.

I have this one: Clicky But don't use it that often, coz I don't really need one - my makeup seems to stay put on it's own. But, I would recommend it if your makeup doesn't stay on for long.

ive been recommended the vaseline trick before, never tried it though, i just use foundation. vaseline is meant to be really good, you just need a thin layer and you need to wait till it dries before applying eyeshadow so it doesnt crease and look..well...creased. good luck :)

Thats possibly due to the fact that while most things from tesco are dirt cheap to buy, they also happen suprisingly to be dirt cheap products

It is like that kinda shock when you break the credit limit on your bankcards in marks and spencers, and then realise, you actually really did buy just a lettuce, except in tescos case its in reverse

The bread is fantastic, but its fantasticness lasts for about a day, so in comparison, its like having impotent bread, as opposed to a big brand like hovis which comparitively takes viagra

........and the coke, while having a nice taste to begin with, its like eating that kebab the next morning, it tasted allright the night before, but now its been out of the shop for more than 2 hours, its tastes just too bad

though the one good thing about tescos, are the self service tills, probly the only expensive thing in tescos, have never broken down for me before, but if they do, i dont feel the need to shout at the poor defenceless till, cause its not as if it could shout back, EXCEPT WHEN I DONT PUT MY PRODUCTS IN THE BAG ON THE SIDE.

Id nominate myself for post of the week, though i wouldnt want it to win for this entry, as a short sharp witty snippet, just wouldnt do justice to the immense monstrosity that is tescos, it might make people laugh a little, but think of the poor people with short attention spans, some of them find even sarcasm hard to get.

That drives me mad, and on many occassions, i have found myself screaming like a nutter in the middle of tescos, "I dont want a shitting carrier bag! why the hell should i put it in one?!" surrounded my terrified old dears!

But in answer to the question i just use foundation, and always have done!

you don't have to put it in a carrier, you can just put it on the scales so it thinks you've put it in the bag.

yeah thats the one i was talking about - not as heavy as foundation so better than using foundation or concealer in my opinion
