what's your favorite sci-fi film?

My favorite serie is Farscape (as you had probably already notice from the thread I started on it)

For the favorite film I aint sure, it's harder to choose there is planty of good ones out there, but to name only one I have to say it is Dark City...

    I still wont or ever watch star wars or star treck. Never watched any sci fi before meeting the man, but now I'm addicted.

    I love sg1, the shows and the movie
    i've really gotten into dr who
    that cartoon by the south park guys thats on sci fi is excelent. Can't remember the name though

    ok, tbh those are the only ones i've ever seen plus galatica, but i like them :p)

    to me, it was just so ott lame out there it was good. Much like the oldschool sci fi movies with like killer mutated bees or giant rats or something :p

    Firefly for the series.

    For the film, I don't really know.

    I read more sci-fi than watch it. I'd recommend Use of Weapons by Iain M Banks for sci-fi fans.

    Yeah Firefly aint bad, haven't see much of them tho, need to ask my mate, he got them all, the only trouble I have with sci-fi serie is when I start watching them I have trouble stopping... always need to see the next one... and the next one...

    I've been watching Star Trek since i was a kid.
    I've seen Star Wars a hundred times at least.
    I love SG1 and Atlantis. I am beginning to like Galactica more!
    I used to watch Babylon V.

    The only sci-fi series I ever loved was Quantum Leap, I'm still faithful to Dr. Sam Beckett. :love:

    As for films, probably Soylent Green.

    Star Wars = Best thing ever. (Excluding Espisode 1, that didn't happen, k?)
    Star Trek = Great, except the new one, it is naff.
    Fifth Element = Gotta agree, it was brill. I loved it.

    Fifth element was indeed fucking amazing, but the story next to Dark City aint as good imo... I love the psychology play in Dark City...

    I have watched them all and at the moment i am a, Battlestar Galactica fan for tv and Serenity for movie! Though i do like all the Star Wars and most Star Treks and everything really.

    Serenity is awesome! and it is the film version of the Tv series FireFly that got cancelled after 12 episodes, even though it was kind of good it thought...
