If an extremely powerful country in the east called for a jihad against people holed up in the uk for whatever reason i would be worried.
As ive said b4 the main reason these people exist is because america created them.

That isnt the point. Britain is a monarchy, like it or lump it. Technically she has the power to dissolve parliment, as she has the power of the army and the police on her side, they swear allegiance to the queen remember. And chances are if what she decided to do was in the best interests of the country, then they would side with her.

So what? in the traditional sense of the word crusade most nearly refers to a noble fight - and in the case of what happened last week, a fight or crusade against the evil that is terrorism is indeed noble.
I stand behind Bush - not out of blind patriotism but because I think he has the right idea - these bastards have a day of reckoning coming to them and if "innocents" become casualties, so be it - If I were him, I'd have nuked the place back to the stoneage - Bush, you arrogant little fool, is showing tremendous restraint in not employing a knee jerk solution to this attack.
I hope he does what he says and smokes them out of their holes or mudhuts or whatever the backwards little pukes hide in - they KILLED nearly 6000 of our people - a little retaliation is in order and personally I don't care how he WORDS his intentions, just that he carries them out.
The attack last Tuesday was indeed cowardly - someone who really had a cause in mind, would have attacked a base (or tried to) then maybe theyd get some respect for their pathetic cause. But NO, they attack innocent civilians let me emphasize INNOCENT!! I don't give a rat's ass about their complaints about harsh US policies or the fact that arabs are being killed using American equipment - this attack was unprovoked and I hope beyond all hope these backward jerkoffs get what's coming to them.

Been reading reports of the Russian experience-they lost 28,000 troops and had total respect for the aghani fighters.
Far better to try a massive aid package ,USA/Russia funded ,to put Afghanistan back on its feet-if Afghani people have a decent standard of living then the extremists will be isolated.
while I agree there is nothing but rubble over there - I would also suggest that sending any form of aid to them would be an incouragable dishonor to those who died - to the Afghanis, Bin Laden is their hero- so the isolation theory wouldnt work - the best approach would be a totally united coalition of troops to smack down this threat every time and to attack any country that aids them - to give them relief - hell no.

In an American court of law a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Democracy is a political or social unit based on democratic rule. And right now, no one is sure who is to blame for the attack on the Pentagon and the WTC. We can only make assumtions. I do believe that we have a strong and intelligent president and he is waiting to do the right thing. When he knows or has enough proof that it is a paticular person or group, he WILL take action!

and the brave american airmen who bomb iraq are an example of how it is done. at least the terrorists had a 75% hit rate, compared to the 8% ou managed in the gulf. I doubt many of the people working in the WTC building are innocent. But the ethics of capitalism are outside this debate, except that america has been engaged in ecenomic warfare, with the east, and so to atack an economic target could, in that sense, be justified by your own criteria this is the kind of thing that makes the america deserved it view understandable (but not agreeable)
