Finger test

Lay your fingers on a flat surface and try to lift your third finger up on its own without moving any other fingers. :eek2:
You wont believe how frustrating this is...

I can do it with ease with my left hand, and most of the time with my right, although my middle finger does jump occasionally.

The middle finger? It moves as much as it would if I moved other fingers with it.

Try this: Put your hand on a flat surface and bend the middle finger under, but keep the others straight. Try lifting the finger that's next to the little one; impossible?

Did you mean bend the middle finger under the palm or just bend it so just the tips on the flat surface?
I did the second one and its really easy,I can lift my finger higher than when I do my one. :thumb:

Ps do you think doing exercises like this regularly would help with guitar fretting?
