The publication of the advert in a Swedish newspaper coincided with heavy media scrutiny of both leaders.

The government faced criticism of its response to international crises such as the Asian tsunami and the row over cartoons caricaturing the Prophet Muhammad. Ms Freivalds resigned in March.

    I thought it amusing when I heard. Politicians should expect a ribbing. Besides, they are only having a laugh.

    Now, if they improve their flying skills so my life isn't in danger next time I have to have to use them, I'll be happy. Sideways landing far to late on runway = not fun. :no:

    Good job I don't get paranoid about flying from stuff like this.

    I'm not sure I get your drift, unless perhaps to suggest that like budget airline chiefs, politicians are also prone to idiocy.

    I'm saying that politicians need to have a thick skin and get used to people taking the piss out of them. If the politicos don't like it, tough they should resign and get a new job - not sue the piss takers.

    Oh I see... Yes, it does come across as a bit of an over-reacion doesn't it?

    Maybe they're all really polite and honest in Sweden. :D
