    hahaha! that'll teach you. its definately easter sunday hun. i gave up chocolate for easter once, and i went around sniffing all my mates empty wrappers...it was hell!

    its easter sunday. It starts on pancake day so you use up your eggs in pancakes, and then youre supposed to give up eggs till easter, and thats why we have easter eggs, cos you can eat them again.

    See i've always justified that lent finished on Palm sunday for the following reason. Its supposed to represent the 40 days that jesus spent in the wilderness not eating anythign and being tempted by the devil - right.

    However we all know on Palm Sunday he was riding a donkey into jerusalem therefore definately not in the wilderness any more - ergo lent must have finished by then.....

    I'm not religious though and just like the idea of giving stuff up though i've not done it this year but normally i give up LOADS of stuff.
