Blogness?

I know there's loadsa topics on LJs and MySpaz and all what but I was just wondering... What do you people think of online blogging?

Is it actually even good? I had one for a while, but it got a bit crap when I realised I had like 4 friends who hardly ever posted and the such like.

Meh... I'm just debating whether or not I should give it another go. I've about 4 before over the last 3 or 4 years! Ooft!

    I think blogs are a great way of keeping in touch with people.

    Since uni my friends are scattered to the four winds, and its the only way to stay in contact given work pressures.

    Only way I keep in contact with some people. Haven't been bothered updating my el-jay for yonks. Don't know where to start cause I haven't used it in so long :p

    I have one, but only as an online archive of writings I have done and to save sending notices and stuff to all my friends.

    I have the LJ. Its to keep in touch with the going ons of my sister countries away and from the people I've met on here actually (cuz i'm lame) I like to read them. Keep up with people I find interesting that I dont get to just chat with.

    my LJ was mainly to save me from having to write the same 'this is how my life is going' email to all my old mates. and vice versa.

    but these days i have quite a few people who i've never met, most probably will never meet, and really don't know that much about on my list, and some people think that's weird. but i don't think so.

    then again, i'm a world-beating curtain twitcher, so it's really just a cyber-extension of my nosiness.
