I'm typing something up in work, and have now discovered that Microsoft Word is politically correct.

    Think it might have something to do with the language settings on your PC. Maybe postman is an unknown word in the USA like pavement and wisdom. :p

    Is your checker set to American English? Just strikes me as very "American" in tone.

    actually it's set to UK english, but i had it checking grammar and style instead of just grammar
