    Lincolnshire!

But it depends really what you're planning on doing in these places and what you're after.

The Lake District is a beautiful place, but not if you want to go clubbing and the likes!

Seconded. Some of my best memories are time I spent there, and in Northern Ireland. Vastly underrated.

I'd also recommend Newcastle, if you've never been. Northumberland is gorgeous and perfect for a little break, especially if you drive.

It depends what you're looking for - relaxation, nightlife, sightseeing...a mix of all those things are more? :)

    Winchester, Wimborne, Romsey, Salisbury

 I suppose being from Rotton anywhere esle seems intresting. :p

Salisbury's not too bad. You've got the Stones, a severely impressive Cathederal, Old Sarum, quite pretty - good if you like your history.

Southampton's not bad for shopping, Romsey aint much better than Totton - a dive. Winchester's dull and there are are better places to go in Dorset than Wimborne.

New Forest is good - though I'm biased.

Harrogate was the one that worried me.. :p

    A matter of taste ;)

I quite like market towns like Wimborne and Romsey.
Totton is just a hole. It has no redeeming features at all...i prefer inner city Bradford.

Winchester is my favourite city in Hampshire.
Southampton is nice for a wander around the old bits, but is really just a characterless shopping centre (couldn't miss it off my list, though!).

Thanks for your replies, Giants Causeway is definately on the list, you'd think with my mother being from ireland i would of been there already!
We're looking into the places to go now for the summer, i think cornwall will be on the list as well as the causeway, and maybe edinburgh?

    Edinburgh, Highlands, Lake District.

We did a quick tour thing for our honeymoon and saw some of the UK. My favourite was the Lakes.

    Want to see more though.

This is where I live, the only good thing (imo) is Home Park which is Plymouth Argyle's football ground. Town can be nice as well, apart from on a Saturday morning when it's really busy...

 I've lived just outside of the Lakes most of my life, and I still think it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen. But if you do visit, try and avoid school holidays cos all the towns get ridiculously busy.
