basically, being in a hurry in the shop, i mistakenly purchased a SATA 1 HDD instead of a good ol' IDE drive. being a relic, my motherboard doesn't support SATA, so i'm wondering if anyone knows of a nifty little cable or converter that will let me use the SATA drive on my existing motherboard?
cheers.

You could use this as an excuse to upgrade the motherboard (and processor, and ram, and video card, and case..)
Should cost about £30-40 new
