Hair colour

I've finally decided to go ahead and get a bit of colour into my hair. It's dark brown and I don't have a clue which colour to put into it though. I don't know the difference between highlights and lowlights etc though.

I know that my hair will be longish-short to medium and more likely than not, spiked up as usual. So, what do you guys think?

Highlights are strips of colour lighter than your current colour. Lowlights are colours darker than your current colour. Blonde streaks would be highlights, red streaks would be lowlights....

I forgot that I had posted this. Any suggestions on "in" colours right now? Someone said that blonde is out (have to agree I think)

its not really about whats in or out, with hair its about what suits you

But in my opinion blonde highlights on men is just wrong anyway
