When I visited Canada, I noticed "liberal" and "conservative" was defined opposite from what the US defined them. To help us on both sides of the "pond" understand each other better, will both sides define what we think "liberal" and "conservative" mean?

allow convicted murderers to live. I know a death penalty is not very popular in britain but here it has much support.
