Well that made my skin crawl. Did anyone else use guns (not those) in school. I used to shoot think it was a .45 in school. We also used I think it was some sort of machine gun for training exercises. May have been an ak not sure though. It was very heavy and went on a stand any ideas?

When we were younger the Brits round our way used to let us see through the scope of a gun. That's the closest I've ever been to one.

Nope bigger than that. Had three people to carry it. It sat on a tripod. I think it must have been a type of machine gun. And the .45 wasn't a .45. it was much bigger - rifle. This is bugging me. Anybody know?

    Ah
I think it was a relative of this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Avtomat_Fedorova_1916.jpg#file

And the one on tripod yup definitely some sort of machine gunny thing.

God. I was once on a training exercise and a fucking mortar went off next to our squadron. Didnt realise how dangerous that could have been until quite recently.

Aye... the SLR wasn't a bad rifle. At least it didn't jam, which kindof made up for being semi auto.

    GPMG?
    12.7 HMG?

On the subject of the arms trade.. yeah... you can pick up an AK way cheaper than that. And so easily now, it takes the piss.

    Worrying...

If you hadnt guessed this was quite a long time ago. I would have been kicked out for calling it a machine gunny thing  meh I am a pacifist these days.

And a 303 looks like it is pretty close.

Vickers? I'd have thought they have been taken out of service years ago, but I suppose a few cadet forces might have some kicking around.
