I can't remember anything from my Chemistry lessons at school. Aside from every incident which glass beakers were smashed on the floor. Or the incident with the missing thermometer. To this day, no one knows where it is...

Did anyone make fun of his name? One of our supply teachers was called Mrs Bent. Soon as the guys find out, they couldn't take her seriously at all. Poor woman.

No, cos he actually was pretty cool. He was a proper mad professor.
We also had a Mr Small, who noone took the piss out of because he was excellent and wouldnt have put up with it tbh.
There were teachers who got the piss ripped, but usually it was the ones who couldnt command authority - nothing to do with the names.

They probably made fun of him somtimes, but they also had a laugh with him. Overall he got on okay.

Discipline in your school must have been better than in mine. About two teachers were immune from ridicule, but that was it. One of them never taught me, the other left me (and several other pupils) in tears at the end of lessons.

We had a Mr Wood for chemistry for a while, as a supply while our teacher (my amazing tutor :() was in hospital for cancer treatment.

It doesn't sound an amusing name, but trust me.... he was about as alive as a plank of wood. And as clever. How the man was a teacher is beyond me.... he was told by our tutor group that my name was Lauren, and I came to school in a helicopter and that Becky was pregnant with another teachers baby... and he swallowed it all. :yeees:

I like that t shirt though as it's been a while since I did Chemistry, I too had to look up what H2SO4 actually is.

I also really like this shirt.

    That T-shirt is great.

    The poem:
    Poor little Johnny
    For he is no more
For what he thought was H20
    Was H2SO4
