pulling muscles

iseem to be pulling muscles on my neck or shoulder or both quite frequently and very easily, like last night i did it taking off my coat. its quite painful when i do it and its stays a bit tender for a bit. any ideas of what could be wrong?
i do work in a nursery so i am bent over quite a lot with the we ones could it be that should i go to doc?

    If your av is anything like your real head then maybe that's the problem! ;)

    Not sure...go to whoever specialises in the neck and see what the craic is.

    it's unusual to be pulling them that easily, I'd get it checked, but doctors know bugger all, pay for a physio.

    maybe you just put it on a bit too fast/put your arm in an awkward position?

    maybe for the thing at work you could try doing some exercises or something to avoid injury/strain?

    i had a thought last night. could it be my pillow? i realised that it all began when i moved into my flat in august. we bought new pillows and by mistake we picked one hard pillow and i have been sleeping with that, thought maybe its been putting me in an akward position. so i passed it over to the other half and swiped his. dont know if it will make a difference.
    maybe i should just go see someone.

    how would you know you had a trapped nerve?
