    My dad grew up with alot of ship building. He's now Second Cheif Engenier on a supply vessel. He grew up along the Clyde...

    And now, half the bloody lot is abbandonned or gone when we go there. Bloody shame, Britain produces naff all now. If we were blocked, we'd be up the creek.

    If we couldn't trade with other countries we'd be in a tight spot for sure. Anyone know how much we actually do import? Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything we produce... um, Marmite anyone?
