Just had to jump in and add my tuppence worth here - being as I have direct experience of the above, my other half being a porn star!

I knew she did some glamour modelling when I first met her, but she was only just getting into the 'proper' porn side of things. Shortly after we started seeing each other seriously, she put forward the idea of quitting her day job to become an adult model full time... I said I'd support her and back her to the hilt! Just a quick aside on the issue of safety - I've no idea about the US, but in the UK now it is standard for porn stars to have to get tested every month and supply their certificates at every shoot. The system isn't perfect, but fewer porn stars I know catch STDs than other friends who just sleep around!

Don't know how well I'd deal with it if she did boy-girl too though...

No i dont think it would matter to me. If i really liked the person and she felt the same, your'd work something out. It wouldn't bother me if family knew either, they might be shocked and worried at first but they wouldn't have a problem

Erm, I think after the thread being a year old - the problem would have been sorted now and sufficient advice given. Omg, I'm talking like SG. Hah, no really don't bring up old threads over a YEAR OLD. It's not cool.
