I've got seasons 1 & 2 on dvd and ive downloaded season 4 (coz we cant get buy yet, will do when it comes out).
I think its fantastic and although it steals a lot of gags from other shows it still manages to be really funny and the unpredictability is what makes it so great!

    Family Guy = God in our little group of friends. We dedicated a party to it once - alcohol and millions of DVD's (well... exagerration but you get my point). It's great.

    And for some reason us girls don't get, the lads all fancy Lois.

    I used to love it. Watched it every night on cartono network
    Season one and two are good
    Season three is alright
    Season 4 sucks
    Season 5... well... its about as good as friends now

    Apperantly the guy just ran out of ideas long ago and pushed on with nothing but already told played out make them longer and duller jokes.

    Its not even worth channel surfing thru anymore.

    Its dull, predictable and a an absolute travasty. Its nothing more than a broken decayed shell of what it used to be.

    How far have you seen the show into?

    The first two seasons are ace. THe episode with death, the one where he goes to the womens retreat. Hilarous. Brian and his drug habbit. Those will never get old.

    Its only up to season 3 here.

    My boyfriend loves it, and i do find it quite funny, i would rather watch it and find it way more entertaining than the Simpsons, but i'm not really big on shows like that anyway, but it's not bad for what it is.

    seen all of season 4, it's still funny but doesn't beat the older ones... wouldnt say it was as bad as friends ;p

    Seen them all at least 5 times...

    Just fucking fantastic... So damn funny...

    American Dad from the same guy is excellent too!

    I don't like either of them.

    Their jokes are bordering on childish, imo. Load of class mates watch it though.

    Family guy has a new spin off, "The Daily Quohog" i think its called. It follows the news readers on the days.

    Family Guy & American Dad are both great, no idea what episodes of which series ive seen though, whichever the bbc bought the rights to recently and showed on bbc 2 / 3.

    It got bought back last year, Season 5 is running at the moment, No idea when it comes to UK tv though!

    I totally agree with you there. i also am working my way through the season 1 and 2 box set that i got. Gotta love the early episodes.
