  some GPs will test u if u ask for it, others will tell you to go to the GUM clinic
  
  if she thinks she needs to be, then she should be BEFORE ditching condoms for the pill (IF this is her plan) or continue using condoms too until she knows she's not putting others at risk.

  How do they check girlies for STDs anyway? Is it by swab? :-s

  Hiya
  It isn't routine for them to do this - you should be able to get the pill without being tested. However, if you are worried about STIs you should get tested. A gum clinic is probably the best place to go for this.

  No No its not she wants to get tested for STI's shes just really shy, i told her they wont but she wanted me to make sure first!
