Who here has a will?

I was doing a corporate event at work tonight, and was stuck in the projection room playing with the lights, listening to hours of telecom speak.
Anywho, to keep myself entertained I started a list of what I owned, and who would get what if I died. lol. The taxman gets 40% if you don't have a will, so I was just wondering who here has one, and what age they sorted themselves out at?

    I didn't think it was so simple to just write a will and then you won't have to pay the taxman. I dunno though... I haven't really thought about it because I'm only 20 and never really in a morbid enough mood to bother thinking about things like that!

    When I die, I want to be creamated then have my ashes thrown in the eyes of those I despise I rhyme, hehe But I havn't written it down yet :(

    whether you have a will or not has nothing to do with what the taxman gets. you pay inheritance tax if your estate is valued over a certain amount, will or no will. unless you leave everything to your spouse or to charity.

    in answer to your question, no will, but i probably should have.

    I do, he gets my debt and I get his :/

    We made one years ago when we bought our first house, cos we arent married if I die then he gets the house in case my family try and get their paws on it (:p) and vice versa.

    I don't have a will because I have far more debt than savings.

    If I died tomorrow would the balance of my savings account go to the student loans people to whom I owe far more than my savings actually amount to?

    The rules of inheritance are very complex, but the tazman gets 40% over £275,000 and generally the Crown only gets your estate if no living beneficiary can be found.
