Erowid vs. Frank

In my eyes Frank is a bit pathetic. Its all fake and over the top. All you really need is www.erowid.org.

Which is more informative and useful, do people think? Just out of interest.

    I agree. franks good for the odd bits and bobs, but erowid is excellent.

    With drug information on the internet, always be sure to get a second opinion. Even on some of the most authoritative sites (erowid.org, bluelight.ru) there's a lot of bullshit/pseudo-science floating around.

    For a drug library archive, erowid.org gets my vote.
    For a drug discussion forum, bluelight.ru gets my vote.

    Bluelight is the best drugs forum I've seen on the net. Haven't been there in a while though

    As for erowid vs frank, there's no contest. Erowid wins hands down, top notch.

    I wonder what bong has to say about this ;)

    Yea bluelight is the best drugs forum i've ever seen as well, such a wide range of topics and boards and plus it's not only all drugs, there's a load of different boards on different topics.

    bluelight is shit i got banned from there so many times and had posts deleted cause of thir crap rules.

    The problem with Erowid is its focus, in that it doesnt really have any.

    It is good, for somethings, as long as you get a second opinion.

    Its stuff on heroin and coke though is quite often rubbish.

    The people who run it are supposed to be really nice, but its way too big for just two people to run and properly fact check. That and they are hippies and have a focus on hallucinogenics.

    Frank is largely correct these days, but that isnt the whole picture, it presents a relatively one sided account and doesnt give all the details. Its not ideal, but for a government site it is now as close to acceptable as I expect.
