I'm so bored. Like, I'm sat here eating crushed pineapple and it's super tasty, and I'm dancing around my room to cheesy dance music - I'm still bored.

    Still in your dressing gown? Me too! :D The guy I like is off to Iraq for 5 months on Tuesday, I have no money to go out.... it's all a load of shit isn't it?

    Don't worry about the guy you like going off to Iraq - it's not that bad. My brother got his first posting to Iraq and has been there since end of November. He gets 20 minutes of phone calls a week plus internet access, can post letters (called blueys) free and you can send him them for free (get them from the post office) or send e-blueys (the electronic form). We have just found out that my brother gets 2 weeks off in march so gets to come home and see us and see his friends etc before going back out there till beginning may.

    I chat to my brother quite often on messenger so it's not too bad. I do miss him, especially christmas day as it was first year without him, but then I get to contact him a lot and can even send texts and receive them from him (haven't seen my bill to see how much they have cost yet though!).

    Hope that has cheered you up a bit x

    Bet you really miss him... don't know what I'd do if my brother was posted out there! Sounds like my fella and your brother have gone at similar times... he went in November (he's on 2 weeks leave now) and then he goes again until May.
