Just got myself a lovely text message from 02:
02: Good News. Making international calls on you're mobile is not as expensive as you think. Visit 02.co.uk
Last time i checked i wasn't a mobile phone. Heads should roll for this the stupid buggers.

    Yes. But i am a pedant. If you're sending out mass text messages, you'd think they'd try and get them right.
    It's something i tend to pick up on...

    I wouldn't let someone gramatically incompetent do my advertising for me.

    You can't expect much more from a mobile service provider, though ;)

    Well, it didn't say you're a mobile phone. It said you're mobile, which you are, unless you're half paralysed or something.

    Still taken in that context the sentence wouldn't make any sense at all.

    And yes, the incorrect usage of our language is a big deal. That's why this very frum has rules about 'txt speak'.

    Me too, it irritates me when language isn't used correctly in a public space.
