  Wouldn't a site with reviews dedicated to a particular type of product be a better method of judging an item?

  Harh! I'm far from being a smartarse .
  
  I think thesite.org is fantastic at what it does. I don't believe it needs expansion into other areas - specifically those strongly catered for on the internet already. Why water down something so good? People come here to talk about life, problems, etc, etc. If I wanted to get information on a new mobile phone, amplifier or car, I'd have a look on Google.
  
  It is a good idea, but the internet really does have enough review content on it already - both by professional reviewers and real-world product users.

  good plan Jim V the threads on a particular phone are always very boring.
