A friend of mine told me when she was drunk that she was gonna try and get pregnant with this bloke as she thinks it's the only way she can keep him. Obviously I don't think this is a good idea as I get the impression he's not really that interested in her anyway, and they're not even really going out with eachother properly.

Do you think I should tell him??

    Yea I'd seriously consider telling him cos it's not fair on him if she goes ahead with what she said. But then again if they were doing everything to the book then she wouldn't get preg in the first place.

    as you said she was drunk, but i suppose when most people are drunk they can tell you the truth as they cant say it when they are sober or they can tell you a whole bullshit story!

    so id have words with your mate first if she serious bout doin this then try and stop her. cos shes doin it for all the wrong reasons!!

    Yeah I know....she's the sort of person who would purposely not take the pill and not tell him though!! I've tried speaking to her about it and she won't listen, she seems to do the opposite to whatever I say anyway!

    I think I should tell him but she will find out that I have, i prob won't see him for a while now either!! WHAT DO I DO, she's gonna fuck this poor blokes life up!

    u have got to get it threw to your mate that this is a real selfish thing to do i had an ex mate that done this now shes stuck with a kid and no bloke or income if she doesnt listen after an ear bashing then you should tell this guy to be careful!!

    This is almost the exact situation thats going on with 2 of my friends at the moment...

    One of my mates (Glen, 19) had been going out with this girl (Anne-Maire, 19) for like 2 years and they split up but sort of kept seeing each other... Anne-Maire got herself pregnant and decided to keep it as she thought she'd be able to get him back etc.

    Its awful, shes about 15 weeks gone and won't have an abortion, he doesn't want her back and doesn't want a child and she keeps phoning him going "why won't you see me, your trying to hurt/kill the baby" etc.
    She isn't ready for it and nors he, they both know this but she wants it as she thinks she'll get him back but its pushing him further away and causing all sorts off fall outs between families and friends...

    The best you can do is be there for her and try and pursuade her that its a bad move, a baby is really a lifelong commitment and they cost lots of money, if she goes ahead and he wants nothing to do with her then shes going to get seriously depressed...

    A baby is for life, not just for xmas

    I think u should tell your mate most definatly...she is clearly a very silly and naive little girl. Your friend will really appreciate u saving him from being forced into fatherhood so young and u will be doing her a massive favour!
    It makes me laugh that girls sometimes think a baby is gonna mean they stay with their boyf forever...in a lot of cases its the other way around completly and especially if they did it on perpous behind the boys back!!!
    I wrote a post somewhere about how having a baby really is...kind of pointing out the very very bad bits and not mentioning any of the good lmfao. Go find it and print it out for this girl, maybe itll shock her into growing up and bveing sensible...u never know lol!
