Key Largo is a superb gangster thriller - easily one of my top 10 movie favourites. Robinson and Bogart just seeth at each other until the bullets fly at the end. I have no idea why it hasn't been remade.

I love Citizen Kane because of what it brought back to the cinema, it destroyed what people thought you could do in talking films and reminded everyone what had been lost from silent cinema.

Casablanca still has my favourite movie moment of all time -

    'Play the Marseilles'

I'm also a sucker for Russian silent movies - so Potemkin, October, Man with a Movie Camera, etc, I always enjoy.

I saw the original black and white version of "The Saint" - where he goes to New york, was actually very interesting .. no idea who the actor was but it was some kind of performance!!

There also used to be a series I think called the rocket man in black and white

and bewitched also started off in black and white
