Ok, the other routers topic was getting a bit techy for me so i thought id ask my own question.

Basically I want a thingymabob that will let me use the broadband currently installed on my pc, on an imac. I just want a thing thats gonna do that and cost under 100.

    wireless network should do the job i think, can pick them up at most computer stores, just ask about getting a wireless one.

    what type of internet do you use? cable?

    Cable or ADSL? Do you require wireless? You should just need:

    A) Cable Router (Or ADSL Router)
    B) Networking cable to join the PC to the router, and another peice to join the mac to the router
