I've had 4 hours of lectures today, starting at 9:15 and ending at 6:15. Now I'm supposed to go to Photosoc (photography society) tonight at 8:15 - 10:15 and I really just want to go to bed! I've missed the last two meetings through working and general lazyness, and it's the last one before Christmas. Also they set the display settings up on my laptop so that we can look at pics on the projection screen. So I should go because they need my laptop. But I don't have any pics to show them, it's just my laptop they need.
Everyone in my flat has gone out (my excuse was that I had photosoc - really I didn't want to go out for a meal) so there is nobody here to prod me into going.
Make me go! Gah I hate my lazyness! I want my bed and some mince pies. Humph.

I don't really know any of them - they're a lot older than me, I'm the only girl there and quite a few of them are very foreign. I don't think I'm going to be making friends-for-life there!
I did promise my housemate I would go though, she is on a 'make Heather make more friends' drive at the moment because she didn't get into the student teaching in schools thing.
Show the Johnny Foreigners what we Brits can do. (In photography at least).
There is a guy there who REALLY bugs me, he never has anything good to say about people's photos. Maybe he thinks he is giving constuctive criticism (which is what a big part of photosoc is) but he just pics on really insignificant details. He didn't really like it when we picked on his photos though!

kentish, i said she couldn't have gone for long if it started at 9:15 but was home and posting by 9:30. i got the times muddled up.
Oh believe me, there would be a teeny tiny speck on the lower left hand side of the picture that would completely distract him from the rest of the photograph, and alter the focal point. Oh and you could've used a different lense to include more of the floor, and next time you really should make sure that the lines are exactly horizontal. Oh and it would be too busy, confusing the true meaning of what the photographer was trying to tell us.

On the plus side, I'm getting a copy of Photoshop (notthatIendorsepiratedillegalsoftwarecopiesinanywayshapeorform) from one of the guys there, so that will be cool. I can make my photos funky!

He isn't just anal he is a complete arse. I was so close to saying 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all', a phase so often favoured by my dad when I was 12.
