I'm going for X-Factor runner-up, on the grounds that it'd be funny...

I knew that they were re-releasing "Fairytale of New York" but Katie Melua - bleugh

There won't be an X-Factor runner up for the X-Mas number 1. They are all contractally not allowed to release anything before the winner does and I think it holds for months afterwards aswell so I don't think there will be owt from them unil middle of next year.

I'd vote for the Girls Aloud Xmas single but I'd say the X-Factor winner will get the number 1. Unless Bob Geldoff drags the LIVE AID out again.

Ditto! Why murder such a beautiful and well-loved piece of music?

Why Katie Melua, she's as subversive as microwave food? Even Charlotte Church would have been a better choice.

Am listening to that now (bought the album this morning).

If it wasn't for X Factor, I'd say that'd have a good chance, because I'm already belting it out as loud as I can. But you know, X Factor will win. Which I think is unfair to be honest, as other groups (not just Girls Aloud since their reality winners too!) will have (in all honesty) worked alot harder this year in order to produce their singles, albums, tours etc, and someone who won a talent show will just automatically enter the race for Xmas number one with their first single that'll be rush produced after the final??? unfair in my opinion.

[EDIT] I wasn't aware they were re-releasing Fairy tale....could be interesting when I make my personal Christmas CD for this year (has one from every year since she got her first CD burner for her 13th birthday)

I think that it will be the X-Factor winner but would like it to be the JCB song

    Probably the westlife song.

I know the nizlopi song is about bullying and has a good message but the lyrics are dire.

Wouldnt be surprised if it was Westlife :yuck: or X-factor (which I have no idea about as I have managed to stay completly ignorant about this year)

I started off liking Girls Aloud because I fancied Cheryl Tweedy and now I actually like their music. I am quite tempted to get their album.
