    It's not a bad thing that he got the sack. The quality of the team is there. Luxemburgo has made some truly astonishing decisions during his time at Madrid. He had not just the Madrid crowd but the entire media in Spain saying 'WTF'.

    Now it looks as if they might come to England for a new manager... though neither Mourinho nor Wenger or Benitez are going to leave their clubs early.

    So long as they don't sign Alex Ferguson...
