Champ Man probs

Just installed CM 01/02 on a mates PC and evertyime we go to start a new game we get an error message saying that we need to free up more memory.

PC has a 5gb hdd with nearly 3gig left on it, has 512mb ram and a P4 3.4GHz proc.

Tried a disk defrag and check disk but still get the same probs.

    Perhaps try runing it under compatibility mode? Old games have a tendancy of being bastards to get running under XP

    Tried it, still no joy. It's always worked fine when I run it on XP Pro.

    How old is the game (never heard of it). If it's from the DOS era you might need an emulator.

    I found that when I got CM00/01 and gave up trying to run it - funny is that it won't let me run it but it would my dad run it (on same profile/PC) with no problems at all...

    nevermind me, i was pointing out cm 01/02 came out around the end of 2001. for the new season.

    btw, i am most certainly a he. lol.

    I thought the numbers meant the 1st and 2nd game, like "Terminator 2".

    As for the he/she point, sorry, I didn't know and I try to take account of all possibilities when I don't know something.

    No. the numbers are seasons.
