Could somebody try and explain the word diversity, I really dont understand it! What kind of things is diversity and are there any advantages of it?

    You 'really don't understand it'? How much have you actually tried? No offence... but it's not hard!

    At least tell us first what you DO know about it and what exactly you don't understand or want to know more about. We are not a dictionary!
