water in my ear !

had some random water fight yesterday (trashed the place =\ =\) and now i have water stuck in my left ear, it's really starting to annoy me nd it wont come out! :P

tried a few things like banging my ear against the bed lol, that helped a bit but i think its in quite deep.

I can just feel it there and normally when u get water in ure ears it comes out in like the next few hours...

Not exactly the most serious of health issues I know but I thought id ask here for some advice for future occasions :D (and now)

    It'll clear eventually, but you could try wicking it out with a tissue or some cotton wool. (Not a cotton bud)

    if all else fails try using a plunger.

    PS - What is the thing about cotton buds?? I heard they can be damaging or something..

    cotton buds are only meant to be use to clean the erm, first bit of your ear canal. the bit you can see. you're not meant to poke about too much 'cause it's meant to push all the wax back and stuff. but i do it anyway.

    yeah i do too.

    I find a vigorous shake of the head usually fixes it :)

    Lie on your side with the water-filled ear downwards. It'll clear soon enough.

    If it doesn't clear, pick up a course of AudiClear from a pharmasist. That stuff is great.

    I had that once for weeks. Then I drank some coke, burped and....voila!

    Everything sounded SO loud!

    lol yeah thats what i hated!

    like when ure eating cereal and stuff it makes such a racket =P

    Anyway it seemed to clear while i was asleep, tx guys. :)
