Police can really be an unpleasant lot part 4,075

A man who was run over by a police car when he was 15 has won a six year campaign to release police aerial footage of the incident.
Anthony Green, 22, was cycling in the Burngreave area of Sheffield in 1999.

An unmarked police car tried to make him stop but as he cycled away, the footage taken by a police helicopter shows he was pursued and run over.

The force had denied him access to the tape which has now been released under the Freedom of Information Act.
Here's the full story and within it, a link to the video footage in question. Be warned it's a bit unpleasant to watch: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/south_yorkshire/4254408.stm#

With law and order like this who needs criminals and terrorists?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

Its never that the Police can be violent or nasty or vindictive that surprises me, they are human after all and humans are quite unpleasant some of the time.

What really is so sickening is they totally get away with it, there is no punishment what so ever, at worst they get retired with full pension.
