Is anyone else unable to log in for whatever reason? It's sad, but I'm starting to panic! :blush:

    What version have you got? I'm still on 7.0, though will try upgrading to 7.5 and see if that works... :chin:

    Quite often i'll get that old message with the error about msn cant sign me in, i just close it down completely and re-open it and attempt to sign back in and it works for me.

    I would restart, but it takes about 15 minutes to restart cos I've somehow contracted about 18 Trojans (funnily enough,after I spent the best part of 50 quid on Norton :rolleyes: )

    when my MSN breaks, i go on e-Messenger.net. its pretty much the same thing, but you don't have to download it to use it.

    I've always found msn to be an unreliable piece of crap, I hardly ever go on it anyway these days.

    my msn crashes at times, saying i've made too many unsucessful sign in attemps!? :eek2: so i have to leave it 1/2 hour or so. But there's nearly always something up with it and it just does my head in. I've got yahoo messanger which is loads better, it has bt communicator now so you can make free calls to other yahoo bt users and to peoples mobiles. It's cool :)

    You might want to try AVG which is free so just do a google.

    Also with the right tools you can also dload Norton, McAfee etc: for free :yes:

    Norton = ghey. When that stupid arsing MSN "I'm going to send myself to everyone on your MSN list by disguising myself using amusing filenames" virus was going round, Norton didn't even notice it existed, even though I knew I had it.

    Fuck that ;(.

    See, my mate Marco gave me so much grief for getting Norton and sent me AVG but it seems terribly complex to set up cos they ask for all this information I just dont have!

    yeah same here. If your MSN isn't working, try using a web based version. There are plenty of them around, just search google. Or just use the actual web messenger on the MSN website.
