Monitor Scratch

I ended up put a very faint scratch on my 19inch Sony Trinitron monitor, it's about 2 cm long and very thin, less then the width of a human hair

Most of the time I can't even see it but when I do it bugs me.

Is there anything you can buy to cover up the scratch?

    Glass polish.

    No that wont work - my monitor like almost all decent monitors has an antireflective coating on it.

    Glass polish would create more scratches

    I was thinking of something similar to stuff they have for fixing scratched DVD's and CD's

    I've got one on my monitor too, it pisses me off when i notice it :|
