What happened to my self control?

Hi everyone, i've been away for a while but now i'm back!

Okay. I have a slight problem. There was a time when i could look at this guy that i fancy without any problem. But now for some reason i seem to get a hardon every time i see him. It's driving me crazy. I went to a party last saturday and he was there, he's not gay and he knows i like him, but we're still good friends. I think he noticed something was 'up'. I even get embarrased talking to him at school because of the same problem. Are there any ways to regain my self control, or is it just an instinctive thing i'll have to put up with?
you're just jealous because the voices talk to me!

    i don't think you can do anything if you fancy someone...and you get a hard on even by looking at them. it's just natural and i don't think there is anything you can do about it. like, i can't help it if i always smile when i see this guy i really like.

    I think its perfectly normal to get horny when u see someone or think about someone u r attracted too,

    Fortunately being a female i can hide it more,

    if i wanted to that is, im not sure i have any suggestions for you about how to avoid this happening, because i know how u feel when u see them u want them n u cant help it n the more ignore it the more it gets stronger, lol.

    The only way u can stop this happening is just avoid him i think.....

    Eh..well...
    My knowledge is not so big on that kind of things (I'm not a boy) But I can remember an articel about how to get your 'thing' down... You must think about very boring things as a dictionairy or something...
    I don't think that it's that easy, but still...it's something, right?
    Maybe it is an instinctive thing, but it will pass when you met other interesting people.

    (sorry for my lausy writing, but I'm not used to type english, just trying to help...that's all...)

    I've tried the dictionary thing, the problem is that the first section i think of starts with 'se'.

    I'm lucky that we only share three subjects at school, unless the teacher asks me to stand in front of the class and explain something. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif"&gt;

    i wudn't try to avoid him, if he's ur friend then he'll understand (?) everyone gets urges and impulses, when u start to get aroused, just try to fink of something really unattractive like... i dunno, anything unattractive!

    I have had the same problem before ... I usually make a move for the door at the first sign of a stirring in the trouser department and get some fresh air outside ... and talk about anything to anyone just to get my mind off it ... good luck! I know you'll need it ... ;-)

    i didn't actually go anywhere. my pc broke. when my mum stopped me from going on the net because of the phone bill. for some reason she won't let me go onto a free isp.

    as for my problem, i know that he doesn't mind cos he said so himself. and i can't just stop seeing him because he's one of my best friends, one of my most attractive friends, and a generally cool guy.
    i think i'll try thinking about something extremely unattractive like margret thatcher naked on a cold day. it seemed to work for austin powers anyway! you can tell i was just watching that film. cool.
