most of my friends never talk about things like that and if they do the are silly about it but they are definetly not immature most of them are not virgins unlike me. Masturbation is one of the great taboo subjects. I guarantee if you asked anyone within a group outright if they wanked, they would deny it. But the truth is everyone does, admittedly some more than others. In my humble opinion, this is the case with adolescent teenagers as much as it is with older married people. It is as natural as breathing, perfectly normal. But don't think its just boys, my wife says EVERY girl will have explored themselves at least once, to find out what it feels like.
