    Twisters? I'm in Wolverhampton at the moment, but its not far from Birmingham and the weathers pretty calm here.

    It happened a couple of days ago, winds of up to 130mph they said on the news;

    It was yesterday. Loads of trees came down and blocked roads so many roads were closed. Took me hours to get home. I think myself lucky though: apparently a woman had her body sliced open by a flying street sign :eek

    It was only like 6 or something miles from where I live but there was nothing like that by me.... traffic was mega though and apparently the people and kids workin in a day nursery couldnt get out because of a fallen tree, thank god it wasnt any worse thou!

    Yeah... just like the earthquake I slept through it and I would've seen it from my front window if I'd been looking. :mad:

    It was nothing like the Birmingham one though. Only lasted a couple of minutes and didn't really do any damage.

    Not very likely no but in high winds it's possible that a street sign could get lose and cut someone quite badly.

    i dove around six hundred miles from north wales to kendal to preston to bradford to gainsboro to hull to grimsbyrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to nottingham to shefield and home yesterday.
    ir rdove throrugrh fog h ig h wirnds hairlstrone rlighrtening floods and almost all the time it was darrk.
    coming out of grimsby the surn broke throurgh arournd 8pm for all of ten minutes then all hell let loose again and i was driving through two inches of motorway water.
    it was a friggin nightmare.
