Sometimes I click on a thread to read it, and before I do I leave the room. Then when I'm back, I click on the back-to-the-board link without reading it, and when I see its title in the list as "read" I wonder when I read it, because I remember nothing about it.

    Things are all marked as read after so many minutes automatically i think.

    I know, but in the cases I mean it's only marked as read because I went back to the boards after having clicked on a topic but before I've actually read the text!
