HEY FRIENDS,
I AM IN GREAT DISTRESS, AND I NEED SOME KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE TO HELP ME OUT. I AM AN INDIAN STUDENT WHO HAS BEEN PHYSICALLY INVOLVED WITH HIS FIANCEE FOR THE LAST 4 YRS. HOWEVER, IN OUR COUNTRY IT IS A TABOO TO BE AN UNWED MOTHER AND I AM AFRAID THAT MY WOULD BE WIFE IS IN DANGER OF BEING ONE. WE HAD UNPROTECTED SEX ON THE 10TH DAY AFTER HER MENES, CONSIDERING IT TO BE A SAFE DAY FOR UNPROTECTED INTERCOURSE.HOWEVER, NOW MY FIANCEE HAS MISSED HER PERIODS AND SHE HASNT HAD ANY BLEEDING WHATSOEVER.I FEAR OUR CALCULATIONS MAY HAVE BEEN WRONG. I CANT MARRY HER AS YET, COS I AM NOT YET SETTLED IN A FULL TIME, RESPECTABLE JOB.I WOULD REQUEST ALL MY KNOWLEDGEABLE FRIENDS TO PLEASE HELP US OUT WITH SOME SUGGESTIONS TO DETECT AND ABORT THIS UNWANTED PREGNANCY IN AS CLANDENSTINE MANNER AS POSSIBLE.

TheSite do not actively promote abortion. We simply let people in the UK know about a number of options that are legally available to them. If you would like to know more about a possible pregnancy, here are the links:
    http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/so_you_think_youre_pregnant.html http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/youre_pregnant_what_now.html http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/my_girlfriends_missed_her_period.html http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/my_girlfriends_pregnant_what_should_i_do.html

And we also have lots of information about contraception: http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/contraception_overview.html

i was thinkin this, but didn't want to say it! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"> You shud take responsibility for your actions u can't just have sex on "the safe day" (that doesn't actually exist) and then terminate the baby when she gets pregnant, that is really unfair.

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.

i agree with all that's been said. there really is no safe day to have sex. some people say doing it when she is having her period works...but really...nothing works but proper birth controls.

and i personally don't believe in abortions...too cruel for my liking. why have sex in the first place if you're not even mature enough to handle the consequences? im sorry...but it's my opinion.

sure it's easy to say that oh, aborting an unborn is cruel etc. etc. but i think with a conservative background such as in india, becoming a mother out of wedlock is like a DEATH sentence. The ensuing pressure from society, e.g. ostrasization, is so tremendous that it's enough to wreck a family. I think perhaps our friends in the western hemisphere don't really realize this.

However, I think our friend in distress here need to realize too that when u have unprotected sex, u know well enough of the risk. Everyone has to be responsible for their own actions. Is it not a selfish act if you ask your lover to abort, just because you are not "ready"? On the other hand, letting your lover face the enormous pressure from society alone is equally unjust.

I don't know the solution for your predicament. No one does infact, except yourself. At the end of the day, u need to know what love really means to you and how high you place it in your heart.
