How do i get a certain person to notice me,when all she does is go on about another boy ?

    ok you have a few options here:
    1. drop really unsubtle hints about the 2 of you.
    2. flirt ouutrageously at every oportunity.
    3. tell her
    4. wait till you're alone together and kiss her (if you're brave)
    5. i can't think of any other!!! i think tell her is your best choice!

    if shes constantly going on about another boy then she obviously doesn't like you and if u try anything u risk destroying your friendship.

    i was in a similar situation, this boy i really liked kept going on about a girl i know, until i got really cross with him and told him to stop it, cos it was making me dead jealous. and then he got the message, and it was successful, and we're going out now!

    It doesn't mean she doesn't like you, but the chances are she likes the other guy more - at the moment.

    Don't be put off, but personally, I wouldn't advise doing anything just yet, other than making sure she knows that you are in the running <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">.

    the guy she constantly talks about....are there more than 1 or is it just this one guy? coz if she talks generally it tends to say that she could like you... u've gotta make it obvious that u like her.

    IMHO It is highly possible as mentioned before, she is trying to tell you she likes you by attempting to make jealous.

    1st thing is don't give up, go for it, you've got everything to gain, and nothing to loose. Overtly firt with this girl and make your intentions clear that you like her and want to be with her. Try not to sound desperate, there is nothing more unapealing than desparation.

    Don't go trying to sabotage anything that might be between them, just be a friend. Either her 'thing' for this lad will die down or they'll get it together (if they're not already) and you can decide from there. Don't give up hope though, there's always a chance even if they are going out. Make sure you're the stable mate who's there for her, etc and there's much more chance of success in the long run.
